My Mission
My mission with The Thrive Protocol Letter is to help you become healthier, happier, more productive, and thrive at the peak of your abilities.
I do this by synthesizing my experiences and mistakes into actionable takeaways for you to reclaim your health, optimize your physique, operate at the peak of your abilities, and reach your potential.
Here’s a brief overview of what I draw from:
Professional Guitarist
My first “job” was as a pro guitarist. I majored in Jazz and Contemporary guitar in college and spent a few years playing and teaching full-time. I learned the art of deliberate practice, discipline, problem-solving, and deep work.
Coder
Alas, the life of a full-time musician was not for me. I’m better suited to be in bed by 10 pm, not starting work. I picked up a new trade - I learned how to code. It’s been a challenging yet fun and rewarding ride.
I currently work as a Front End Developer for a high-growth AI startup. Learning to code pushed me to hone my ability to focus and perform deep work.
Fitness Coach
Health and fitness have become my primary passion in life. It’s been a bumpy journey… I was a chubby teenager and developed a deep love of food. This love of eating has been a significant hurdle for me as I pursued the journey of building an aesthetic physique.
My insights towards mindset and discipline mostly come from my internal struggle between the best part of myself and that chubby teenager (who’s still there) who wants to spend all day eating cheesecake and watching Netflix.
I’ve started a business as a Fitness Transformation Coach.
I’m particularly focused on helping people create sustainable approaches to fitness that last for life, not just a few weeks.
I strive to create non-obvious fitness content that simplifies the often convoluted and contradictory advice that makes up too much of the fitness industry.
I’m on a journey to live with the fewest possible regrets, come as close as I can to my potential, and to help and inspire others along the way.
